Welcome to the Sutton Park Model Aero Club web site.

   S.P.M.A.C. was formed approximately 35 years ago to give local people the opportunity to fly Fixed-wing aircraft, Gliders and Helicopters in Sutton Park.

   Our flying site is in Sutton Park, Birmingham. We have two adjacent areas. One area dedicated to helicopters and the other is shared by gliders and powered fixed wing aircraft. We fly regularly both summer and winter. New members of all abilities are always welcome, from beginners to seasoned experts. We are a friendly and informal club where tuition and advice is freely given. We hold monthly social meetings, where we try to arrange some sort of entertainment whenever possible.

    We are a B.M.F.A.   affiliated club and have numerous B.M.F.A. registered instructors, examiners and also a couple of chief examiners in the club. So we are well equipped to take you from your first steps in the hobby, right through to whatever level you choose.
